Connecticut - October 2010

In October Stefanie and I went to Connecticut to visit my sister one more time before she moves back to Utah. Last time we went in the spring, so I was really excited to go in the fall to see all the falls leaves. It was amazing. We hit it just perfect. It was so beautiful. My pictures don't do it justice. Everywhere we went I just kept saying "Oh my gosh, this is so beautiful!". While we were there we drove into NYC for dinner and a show. On the way there we stopped by Sleepy Hollow. It was really fun to see it. Stefanie loved it!!

Adult Lake Powell Trip September 2010

My finished block. It's the John S. Stucki home.

In September we went to Lake Powell with Lee & Brenda Ence and Ken & Barbara Beckstrom, on our houseboat. Jim & Debbie Ence came also with their boat and had Greg & Jill Ence and Ferron & Peggy Leavitt with them. We had a great time. Brenda, Barbara and I worked on our quilt blocks for the Santa Clara Quilt.

Baltic Cruise

We arrived back in London after our cruise. We were able to attend the temple in London which was really neat. The missionaries were also there for a zone conference. It is always fun to run into them. We were gone for two and a half weeks. It was a long time to be gone but it was a great trip.

4th of July 2010

We spent the 4th of July in Salt Lake City. We had a BBQ in my parents back yard, which was really fun. Then we went to the Stadium of Fire at BYU. Carrie Underwood was performing there. It was quite the show!

Lake Powell June 2010

One of our families favorite places to go is Lake Powell. Everyone always has such a great time. We usually try to go up Navajo Canyon because there is such a great beach there and the grandkids just love playing in the sand.

We took our family on a cruise to Alaska. We had such a good time. It was only the adults, so it made for a lot easier trip. Alaska is so pretty and it was so much fun to be there with our children and their spouses.

Hole In The Rock May 2010

We went on a 4-wheeler trip to the Hole in the Rock. It was so much fun. It was a long ride but it really was worth it when we finally got to Hole in the Rock and could see Lake Powell. We have had a lot of fun going on different 4-wheeler rides with our friends.

Christmas 2009

All of our kids were here for Christmas this year. We had such a good time. Notice the picture of JT. He did not want to be in the Santa Clara Christmas program! After the program we came back to our house for a Christmas story and open their Christmas pajamas. Notice the picture of Halle. She was not happy when she opened her present and it was pajamas!! But it was a great Christmas!

Time to get back to my blog!

This past weekend I have spent two full days at the Family History Expo. I haven't really gotten into genealogy, but I'm going to give it a try. One of the classes I went to was on blogging, so it has inspired me to get my blog updated!!
