Bentley and JT at the sand dunes

These 2 boys had such a fun time together and with their dad's and grandpa!

Guys trip to the sand dunes

A couple of weeks ago Doug, Nick, Josh, JT and Bentley went to the sand dunes in California. They had such a fun time. Bentley has a 4-wheeler that he and JT had a ball on. When it was time to come home, JT didn't want to leave. I'm so glad these guys got to spend some time together. Next time Bryson will have to join them.

Easter 2011

Josh and Mickell also stopped by with their kids to join in on the Easter egg hunt. Just wished we could have had the two families here together, but Nick and Abby needed to get on the road to Kingman. We also missed Bryson, Kristen, Addie and Grayson!

Halle playing baseball

Last week I was able to go to one of Halle's baseball games. It was really fun to watch these little kids play ball. This first year they play it's boys and girls on the same team. Next year they will be seperated. It was funny to watch how the boys new what to do and the girls were just trying to figure out how the game works. But it reminded me of the many games we went to when Josh, Bryson, Nick and Stefanie were little. I just love to watch kids play baseball!

Like father, like son!!

Bentley has a little 4-wheeler and it was fun watching him ride it. Sometimes he doesn't watch where he is going and runs into things. I'm sure both of these little boys are going to grow up and do all the things their daddy loves to do!

Nixon's not a happy boy!

Nick & Abby got Nixon a cowboy hat and a holster with cap guns. Can you tell he did not want anything to do with it!

Halle and JT were in the Santa Clara Chirstmas Eve Program. Halle sang "Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer" and JT sang "Frosty the Snowman". They both did such a great job. It was really fun watching them. Then Santa came and gave each of the kids a present. You can tell by the picture that Ryker didn't want anything to do with Santa!!

Doug's cancer

In November we found out that Doug has Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Needless to say it was a shock to us and all of our children. We had to tell our children Thanksgiving weekend, which was really hard, but it was really good to have everyone here. He has gone through Chemo treatments and will be starting Radiation soon. He has done really well through the Chemo. He never got sick, just really tired. We are very optimistic that he will beat this. The second PET scan he had showed all the lymph nodes had shrunk in size, so that was really good news. He did loose his hair, but it is starting to grow back! He has had a really positive attitude through this whole ordeal, which I really feel helps in the healing process. We have felt the many prayers in our behalf and also the tender mercies from our Heavenly Father.

Thanksgiving

Since we weren't going to see some of the grandkids before Christmas, we gave them their Christmas jammies! They looked so cute in their matching jammies!
